The Ares Rose is a lightweight, low-cost laser hunting longarm. While it lacks the damage and range of military laser weapons, it has the same extreme accuracy common to all laser weapons.

The laser uses the beam optics as a scope via a camera system. A small display acts as an eyepiece on the rear of the weapon, or a dataport allows a user to project the image with a HUD visor or display goggles.
