Santo Domingo Station, called ‘Mingo’ by residents, is a large cylindrical SM12 station with open interior spaces dedicated to commercial space and dozens of docking ports. Some ports are owned by private corporations (The Bahmani Sultanate owns one) and some are ‘general’ docks directly administered by the station. The station is administered by the Colonial Authority and has a small Patrol office and dock.

The station is near the boundaries of the Fringe and the Frontier. It is several jumps away from the Inner colonies, and is surrounded by the newest Outer colonies. The station sees all manner of cargo and is a major business hub. It is three jumps away from Nassau station.
